At Marisa Berenson's party for the launch of her friend Donna Karan's fall bag collection last week, the main attraction was psychic Maxine Albert, who offered guests spiritual style guidance. By touching their handbags bags or anything in them, Albert could reveal less than profound predictions such as "you need more color in your wardrobe" or "buying one pair of expensive shoes would be better than getting five cheap ones". Perhaps she should try channeling the spirit of Diana Vreeland instead next time.
